We cut our first Christmas tree out of the 51 Nobles we planted 6 years ago!
I love this picture of Ben listening to the buzz of the hive.
"Yet Thou art holy, O Thou who art enthroned upon the praises of Israel. In Thee our fathers trusted; they trusted, and Thou didst deliver them. To Thee they cried out, and were delivered; In Thee they trusted, and were not disappointed." Psalm 22:3-5

I worked on my history book all day......Filling out the inspection papers for Dad!
Think he got a headache and quit?
Maybe he had to run to the dentist?
"Some boast in chariots, and some in horses; but we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God." Psalm 20:7

>The same truck above<
Uncle Matt flew in with his Cessna 182 today.
I was able to get a few aerial pictures of the storm's damage.
Thanks Uncle Matt!

Annie kept up on hauling logs too...
Dad got his chain saw out and the chips were flying!
The 129mph winds blew our doors open...The boys knew the solution:
Thank the LORD for His protection! We live on a hill and the flood water didn't reach our home. All of the trees fell in the right direction. Dad took his air boat and helped rescue with the Sheriff's department in another town. He was interviewed for Kiro 7 news!
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

We REALLY enjoyed our time in...Starbucks!
I kept a journal while we were flying,
and gave it to Gabe to read when we arrived home.
Hmmm...Did I scare everyone away?
I loved seeing those words: San Antonio!
Boy, it hurts to look UP at this thing for too long!
Now that I think of it...We never did go out to dinner.
Who had the time?
Inside the Lila Cockrell Theater.
...And amidst all of the action,
we DID remember the ALAMO!

My prayer is that God will lead everyone in their travels, decisions, and hearts. May everyone trust in Him wherever they are!
He is a loving God and He cares about you.
